WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW MORE:

Some of the more commonly asked questions are outlined below.

What are our service offerings?

A Financial Planner is a qualified professional who will provide you advice on how to manage your money and devise strategies to help you improve your financial situation and build wealth. We have learnt from experience that there is much more to financial planning than just managing your money, money is a resource, a tool to be used.  Our mission encompasses understanding you and what you truly want from your life.  To make this a success we take the extra steps of getting to know you, where you have come from and where you want to be in the future, your greatest concerns, wants and needs.  We believe understanding you will lead to a successful financial strategy and an outcome that goes well beyond money.

Our financial life planning incorporates holistic planning and coaching.  Our main focus is to engender overall client wellness.  We address your values, mindset, beliefs and attitudes in relation to money.  This includes identifying money attitudes, ongoing behavioural investment councelling, ongoing practical education and money coaching.

We design plans to suit your individual needs, as no two people are alike.

How do we charge for our services?

Our first meeting is free of charge. We welcome the opportunity to spend time with you, discussing your individual needs, asking and answering questions, reviewing our unique services, and confirming that Encompass Wealth is the best fit for helping you achieve your financial goals. Please note that there will be no specific investment or financial planning advice given at this meeting.

If we decide to work together and we can assist you, we will provide a written outline of how we can assist and how much it will cost. We charge a fee for value provided, this is not based on the amount of money you have.  Our clients compensate us for our knowledge and wisdom, in the same way they pay their lawyer, accountant, or doctor. We do not earn any commissions from the sale of financial products such as insurance nor investments.  We do not accept commission or referral fees – our advice will not be compromised by payment of incentives.

What information will you need from me?

In our discovery meeting we want to learn more about YOU.  We will ask you:

  • Where you are now and where you want to get to;
  • About your background;
  • Your money story;
  • Your family;
  • Your desires, dreams and vision;
  • Your concerns;
  • Your current financial picture.

We suggest you consider writing a list of questions you would like to ask us!
